Have you ever wanted to do Pilates in a French chateau? Now is your chance! Spend five nights and six days in historic France in the village of Boussac, September 23-28 2024. Plus two days in Paris, September 21-23!
Our retreat is more than just a vacation, it’s a gift to yourself to get away from your daily life and simply focus on yourself. There will daily Pilates, walks through beautiful gardens, gourmet French food, wine tasting, traditional European markets, plus plenty of downtime to find a cozy nook to read, or wander through the charming village of Boussac in the central region of France. You will go home transformed by the bucolic countryside and the time to yourself.
We are suggesting you read Alexandra Potter’s “Confessions of a 40-Year-Old F$%^ Up.” We will be discussing it for our Book Club evening discussion.
Your retreat leaders are Molly Niles Renshaw, owner of Phoenix Classical Pilates and co-founder of Tarry Life, and Leigh Niles Reason, travel advisor, writer and co-founder of Tarry Life.

WHAT IF I’M A PILATES BEGINNER OR IT’S BEEN A WHILE?
We welcome all levels to the retreat. If you’d like to get a head start before the retreat, consider taking a class at Phoenix Classical Pilates in Santa Monica if you’re in the LA area or take a class via Zoom. Check the schedule at www.phoenixclassicalpilates.com/classes
IS ALCOHOL INCLUDED?
The retreat will feature wine with dinner, and a wine tasting at the chateau. Wine is part if life in France and we want to embrace the French experience. That being said, it’s not meant to be an overly boozy trip!
DO YOU RECOMMEND TRAVEL INSURANCE?
We very much encourage you to purchase travel insurance. In the current travel landscape, it’s always best to protect yourself.
WHERE DO I FIND THE RELEASE FORM?
After you place your deposit, we will be emailing you a release form that you can e-sign. All attendees must sign this release form prior to arriving in France.
WHAT IF I HAVE TO CANCEL? IS THERE A REFUND?
Balance Payment is due 60 days prior to the retreat start date (For France 2024, that’s July 21, 2024.) The cost begins at $4497 per person (double occupancy) with 50% deposit due at signup. There is a nonrefunable booking fee of of $350 should you decide to cancel for any reason (unless the retreat is canceled altogether.)
The remaining balance will be due on or before 07/21/2024. If you cancel by 07/21/2024, anything you’ve paid minus the booking fee will be refunded. If you cancel between 07/21/2023 and 8/21/24, you will receive a 50% refund of any amount paid minus the booking fee. After 8/21/24, there are no refunds offered.
WHAT IF I HAVE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?
Please let us know if you have restrictions such as being gluten-free, vegan, or dairy-free. Please be advised the breakfast each morning is vegetarian.
